Official Local Charities
If you would like to run for one of our local charity partners you will need to contact them directly to apply for a charity place. If you have already entered the race, that’s not a problem, you can still fundraise for them by contacting them to requesting a fundraising pack. Once you have decided which charity you would like to run for and secured your place, it is time to start fundraising by setting up a JustGiving fundraising page!
THE CHRISTIE
The Christie is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres and an international leader in research. Treating 44,000 patients each year, we are committed to helping all those affected by cancer. The Christie charity supports the work of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust providing enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. This includes money for care and treatment, research, education and extra patient services. Gifts from the public make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie provides to patients and their families.
