Record numbers already signed up
The 2019 ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon is attracting huge interest, with a massive 75% increase in runners already signed up, guaranteeing the biggest event yet on Sunday 7th April.
That leaves under 3,500 of the 18,000 available places left for those who want to take part in one of the UK’s premier marathons. Nick Rusling, CEO of organisers Human Race Events, is looking forward to the day and assures runners this will be the best event yet:
“We’re delighted that the word has got out about our event, which is testament to the hard work of the team who have worked tirelessly to earn these fantastic reviews and acclaim. The additional numbers will allow us to further invest, and ensure everybody taking part has the smoothest and most memorable experience yet. Best of luck in your training, and we can’t wait to see you on April 7th.”
The event is now expected to secure it’s place as the second largest marathon in the UK, and the route is the flattest in the land too, giving runners the perfect opportunity to complete the course in their desired time.
Further updates about the 2019 ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon will be published on the official website.
