The adidas Manchester Marathon is well known for its fast and flat route, making it the perfect opportunity to run a personal best.

All Elite Entries

As an elite athlete, you will receive a free entry into the event and an exclusive experience on the day; which includes access to the elite start pen and the elite drinks tables on course.

Both male and female elites start together, in the same wave, on event day.

PRESENTATION AND PRIZES

The presentations for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will take place near the finish line.

Elite Qualifying Criteria

To qualify for elite entry, within the last three years* you will need to have achieved the following times:

• Elite Male – Under 2:24 (marathon) or 1:07 (half marathon)
• Elite Female – Under 2:50 (marathon) or 1:19 (half marathon)
• Male Racing Wheelchair** – Under 2:00 (marathon)
• Female Racing Wheelchair** – Under 2:30 (marathon

*Subject to races taking place.

**Please note, we do not currently allow hand-cycles to enter our races. Elite wheelchair athletes who are competing for prizes MUST participate in a racing wheelchair.
