Donate your start line clothing to raise money for Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation and Sense!

We know how important it is to keep warm while you wait for the race to start but we hate to see your no longer needed start line clothing go to waste! We are on a mission to keep your pre-loved clothes out of the bin and have teamed up with Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation and Sense who are able to turn these clothes into much needed funds for their life-changing causes.

How can I help?

• Look out for the clothing donation areas on your way to the start line. They will be spread out along the start chute so don’t panic if you’re not quite ready to leave your jumper until closer to the start line.
• Drop any pre-loved race day clothing in these areas and the bins provided. Keep hold of your clothing until you see the Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation or Sense wheelie bins.
• We have a team of volunteers to collect up any clothing left by the start line, but it will help them tremendously if we can keep the clothing clean and place in the wheelie bins when you see them.
• By doing this you will be helping our charities fund their vital work. Thank you.
