The following terms are in addition to all other waivers signed as part of the entry into the adidas Manchester Marathon, and do not supersede these.  

Human Race Limited – Running Event Terms & Conditions 

I understand that these terms (the “Terms and Conditions”) are a legal agreement between myself, and all those on whose behalf I enter into an event where/if relevant (“I”, “the Participant”, “me”, “my”, “their”), and Human Race Limited (“Human Race”, “Event Organiser”, “us”, “we”, “our”). 

Other companies associated with the Event Organiser are; 

The Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) – owners of Human Race, Active Network LLC, the Event online registration platform (referred to as ‘timeto’), ADIDAS (UK) LIMITED (referred to as ‘the Partner’) and Specialist Sports Ltd. (referred to as ‘the Fulfilment Supplier’). 


By entering with an ‘Entry + adidas Footwear Bundle’ you understand that you have purchased a pair of Adizero ADIOS PRO 3 as part of your entry to the adidas Manchester Marathon 2024. The fulfilment of the footwear purchase will be carried out by a third party Fulfilment Supplier to the Event Organiser and the Partner. 

The event entry part of the purchase will be made and fulfilled in full accordance with the Event Organisers Terms.  

  • Orders will be submitted to the Fulfilment Supplier on 15th January 2024. In order to process your order, you agree that you name, email, delivery address and shoe size will be shared with the Fulfilment Supplier, in compliance with GDPR 2018. 
  • Any changes to your footwear order after 15th January 2024 must be submitted to the Fulfilment Partner by contactsales@specialistsports.com. This includes any applicable refunds related to the footwear (to the maximum value of £89 inc VAT). 
  • Once your order has been accepted for fulfilment by the Fulfilment Supplier, you will receive a confirmation of your order from them directly.  
  • Any alterations (including refunds, deferrals and transfers) made to your event entry ticket (excluding the footwear) are subject to the Event Organisers standard terms, and can only be made to an applicable value of £89. This is reflective that after the 15th January 2024 your footwear purchase and payment is controlled by the Fulfilment Partner.  


The following relates only to the footwear included in your entry type, and will be managed by the Fulfilment Supplier. Please refer to the Event Organisers standard terms of conditions applicable to the entry ticket to adidas Manchester Marathon.

Processing Orders

All orders will be processed and despatched using DPD by 10st February 2024

Deliveries and Missing orders

Delivery dates quoted are estimated delivery dates only and can be subject to change by the couriers. Specialist Sports cannot be held responsible for this, but they will, wherever possible, inform you if we are made aware of issues with your delivery.

In the very rare circumstance that your order is lost in transit we are unable to cancel or replace the goods until our couriers have completed their investigation. This usually takes 2-3 working days.

Cancelling Orders

You may cancel your footwear order from 15th January 2024 up to the point of despatch for any reason with Specialists Sports (which you will be notified of via dispatch note) by contacting sales@specialistsports.com. If you do cancel the order within this time, any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days. Refund will be made to you by Specialists Sports via BACS; Specialist Sports will outline what information is made in order to process this. Once your item has been despatched, the Fulfilment Supplier are unable to cancel the order until it has been returned to the Fulfilment Supplier.


Items being returned must be returned under the Terms and Conditions outlined here. Our Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

If you are unsatisfied with your items for any reason, you have 30 days to return your order. To return an item, products must be in the same condition we sent them to you. Products must be unworn and in their original packaging with labels and stickers still attached.


We aim to process refunds and exchanges within seven days of receiving your return. We will email you once your return has been processed.


If a fault has occurred with your product please return the item in a well packaged box with a covering note detailing your name, order number and description of the fault. You will be responsible for the cost of returning goods for exchange or refund, please return the item to the above address using a recorded method of postage. Please note that Specialist Sports do not accept responsibility for any items lost, delayed or damaged in post. We will despatch any replacement goods free of charge.

We assess all faults quickly and may return to the source factory for detailed inspection if we are unable to reach a definitive conclusion as to the problem. Please be aware this can take up to 30 working days. We will aim to keep you informed during this process.


Subject to the provisions of our Refund/Returns Policy outlined above, any customer has the right to cancel their order within 30 days of receiving the order. The order cancellation procedure is identical to the Refund/Returns stated above. 


Your purchase relates to the AdiZero ADIOS PRO 3 and the gender and size you have selected. The colourways of these products cannot be quaranteed. In the scenario that you do not want the colourway you have received, you may return them in line with the Return Policy & Information listed above.
