We know many of you will be wondering about the situation with the Manchester Marathon planned for Sunday 11^th October in light of the current restrictions in place regarding the outbreak of COVID-19.

Like many, as it stands we are currently waiting for further updates on what will be possible later in the year under government guidelines. This is not just important for the event day itself, but we also realise the months of training that is required to get ready for the challenge.

Therefore at this time we ask for your patience as more information comes to light, and we will be issuing a further update on our position by Tuesday 9th June at the latest.

At the moment we are accepting runners who wish to register for the event, and anybody who registers during May onwards will be offered the opportunity of a full refund or free deferral to our 2021 event should the 2020 Manchester Marathon not go ahead.
