There are tonnes of reasons why you should run for charity, but here are just four starting reasons that we hope might inspire you:
- Charities rely on fundraising for a large percentage of their income, but this isn’t the only primary benefit, fundraising also helps to promote a charity’s message and vision to a wider audience.
- Those who are running for charity often get a real sense of satisfaction knowing that you are giving back to your wider community, and even further afield, and contributing to research that will benefit your future generations for years to come
- Charities simply cannot fund their work and research without the time and generosity of their committed army of fundraisers. They will be forever grateful for the support you provide.
- There’s no better motivation than the motivation from others. By joining a charity team, you will be joining a community of likeminded runners all working to achieve the same goal while offering much needed support and encouragement to each other.
*Whilst a pre-registration period will reopen for public entries in early 2022, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to receive a race spot, so if you would like a definite place we would recommend a charity entry.
