2025 WINNERS ANNOUNCED
As the largest day of marathon running in the UK kicked off, the first finishers at the 2025 adidas Manchester Marathon have stormed across the brand new Oxford Road finish line under blue skies and warm conditions.

Winners Tessa McCormick and Josh Griffiths accepted their trophies outside The University of Manchester.
The first finisher in the men’s category, Josh Griffiths – known for his surprise entrance onto the elite marathon scene in 2017 – took the win in a stellar time of 02:16:56. He was followed shortly by Matthew Sharp, who clocked 02:17:22. Completing the top three was Kevin Campbell, securing a PB of 02:17:38— a superb effort from the entire podium.

It was also a standout day in the women’s race, with Tessa McCormick completing the distance in an impressive 02:34:53. Olivia Tsim secured second place (02:35:43) in her first ever marathon and was reunited with her seven month year old baby Alexis on the podium! Nina Griffith was a close third in 02:36:46: a personal best time.

All winners received their prizes on the podium against the stunning backdrop of the University of Manchester, adding to the prestige of the occasion.
