The first finishers at the 2026 adidas Manchester Marathon have stormed across the Oxford Road finish line under bright blue skies and perfect conditions.

The wheelchair elites were the first off, officially kicking off the 2026 adidas Manchester Marathon. After an accomplished performance Calum Hall took the Men’s Wheelchair title in a time of 01:47:35, followed by Bret Crossley in 01:55:32, with Josh Hickinbottom completing the podium in 02:00:03.

Yohan Lidove is the Men’s Elite Champion, after setting a new personal best time, taking the title in a stellar (gun) time of 02:15:19. He was followed just 23 seconds later by William Strangeway, who clocked 02:15:42. Completing the top three was Charlie Brisley in 02:16:04. A superb effort from the entire podium and again showing the fast times are possible on the adidas Manchester Marathon’s flat course.

In the Women’s race, Naomi Robinson dominated for long spells, despite a spirited challenge from Heather Townsend. Robinson claimed her second adidas Manchester Marathon title in 2:36:56, previously having won in 2023. Townsend took second place in 2:37:40. Joining them to complete the top three was Louise Flynn, who crossed the line in 2:44:21.
