Every runner needs fuel to conquer a Marathon. Through practising your event day nutrition strategy during training, by the time you hit the start line, your body will have adapted to digesting on the go.

The GO Isotonic Energy Gels from Science in Sport will only be available at Drink Stations 3, 5 and 7, so please plan ahead and remember to bring additional hydration and nutrition based on your individual needs. Gels on course will be supplement to your own. Science in Sport recommends for runs longer than two and a half hours, strive for 60 to 90 grams of carbohydrates per hour in order to maintain your pace and prevent fatigue.
